Apple has published a detailed guide on how to lock down an iPhone if private information is at risk, thus providing users with step by step instructions on what to do if they believe certain data might be exposed.
The long document includes everything from updating the iPhone to the latest iOS version, which Apple says is always the most secure, to protecting the Apple ID and checking the sharing settings that could eventually expose certain information.
