Apple Finally Resolves iPhone Battery Inventory Issues

Apple has finally resolved the iPhone battery inventory issues, so anyone who wants to have their device serviced should be able to do it now without significant delays.

Cupertino announced a battery replacement program in late December, reducing the cost of changing a degraded battery with a new one from $79 to just $29. The campaign was launched as a mea culpa after the company admitted that it deliberately slowed down devices with worn-out units.

In early January, however, due to the big number of customers seeking battery replacements, Apple was forced to push back appointments for up to two months, citing inventory issues.

But according to a new report, these problems have now been resolved and there are enough batteries in stock to complete all servicing requests.
