Apple Confirms iOS 9.3.2 Bricks Some iPads

Apple’s iOS 9.3.2 indeed comes with a plethora of bug fixes and improvements, but at the same time, it’s also giving headaches to a number of iPad owners who got their devices bricked after installing the latest update.

After several reports of 9.7-inch iPad Pro units hit by Error 56, Apple has finally confirmed that it’s indeed aware of some issues with the 9.3.2 update and is now looking into complaints. But the company says that only “a small number” of devices appear to be affected, so it’s not a widespread issue by any means.

“We’re looking into a small number of reports that some iPad units are receiving an error when updating the software.
