Apple isn’t quite the kind of company that teases its products in anticipation of public launches, but there’s a chance that CEO Tim Cook has just provided us with an early look at the shape of the upcoming iPhone 8. Or at least, that’s what the Internet wants to believe.
Cook visited the production facilities of equipment supplier CTS in Cincinnati on Thursday, and to celebrate the occasion, he tweeted a photo showing him discussing with employees something that’s not particularly relevant to our story.
The more important is the bulge in his pants (no pun intended, seriously) as the outline of the phone in his pocket appears to point to a device that’s not yet available in Apple’s lineup.
So maybe it’s a Samsung Galaxy S8+
While we’re pretty sure that Tim Cook would never ever risk to accidentally reveal the iPhone 8 by taking the device to a public event, the thing that’s hiding in his pocket appears to be too narrow to be an iPhone 7 Plus, but… (read more)
