Apple Boosts iMac's Performance with 9th Gen Intel CPUs, Radeon Pro Vega GPUs

Apple has updated its iMac line-up today with to boost the performance with the latest generation Intel processors and AMD Radeon Pro Vega graphics.

After the surprise announcement of the all-new 10.5-inch iPad Air and 9.7-inch iPad mini, Apple today announced that its 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs are getting a 2x performance boost by adding 8th Gen Intel quad-core and 6-core processors to the 21.5-inch iMac lineup, as well as 9th Gen Intel 6-core and 8-core processors to the 27-inch iMac lineup.

Additionally, Apple added powerful AMD Radeon Pro Vega graphics to both the 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMac lineups, which promise to deliver up to 80 percent faster graphics performance on the 21.5-inch iMac models and up to 50 percent faster graphics performance on the 27-inch iMac models.
