Apple used this year’s edition of the WWDC to announce iOS 14, and just as expected, there’s a lot coming to iPhone users with this new operating system update.
Some of the features revealed by Apple today have actually made the headlines before through unofficial reports, and now it looks like they would make their way to all iPhones with the debut of iOS 14 in the fall.
So now we’re going to have a look at the biggest new features coming to users across the world as part of this new iOS update.
Home screen improvements
There are plenty of changes happening on the home screen.
First of all, Apple is adding widgets, something that has previously been discovered in leaked builds of iOS 14 and which have been around for a long time on Android. Widgets will be available in different configurations with pre-defined sizes (similar to live tiles on Windows 10) and they are placed on the home screen right alongside the standard icons.
