Apple Already Preparing the iPhone 14 Launch Event

Apple is projected to launch the new iPhone 14 in September, as per the company’s typical schedule, and it looks like the Cupertino-based tech giant will stick with a virtual event this time.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple has already started recording some of the sessions that will be streamed during the event, and this suggests that the iPhone is indeed on track for a September event.

“I’m told that Apple has started to record and assemble its September media event, which is likely to take place in the first half of the month (as usual),” Gurman said.

A second fall event

Gurman also explains there’s a good chance that Apple will also hold a second fall event after the iPhone unveiling. This time, however, the focus will be the new-generation iPad and Macs with M2 chips – this isn’t necessarily surprising, as Apple has been using a similar approach in the past as well.
