2017 iPhones Expected to Feature 3GB RAM and Lightning Connectors

As we draw near to Apple’s unveiling this fall, more and more details about the upcoming iPhones surface. A research note by analyst Timothy Arcuri from Cowen and Company, obtained by MacRumors, sheds light on memory capacity on upcoming iPhones.

The analyst believes that all three iPhones to be announced this year will feature 3GB of RAM, same as on last year’s models. This means that Apple must focus on design features and other specs to make the smartphones appealing.

Moreover, the upcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 7s and 5.5-inch iPhone 7s Plus will have the same storage configuration as last year’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, respectively 32/128/256GB. The 5.8-inch iPhone 8 could come with 64GB or 256GB of internal storage.
