We’ve known for a while that the next-generation iPhone is projected to launch in September, and pretty much everyone has referred to it as “iPhone 7.”
And since Apple has already debuted both the iPhone 6 and the 6s series of models, it kind of makes sense for this year’s version to be called iPhone 7, but it turns out that Cupertino has a completely different plan.
As we told you before, this year’s model is very unlikely to be called iPhone 7, and according to more recent information, the company wants to go for the iPhone 6 SE moniker that would bring its new device in line with the iPhone SE introduced earlier this year… (read more)
